[Cob] Clay tiles over earthen floorsPavel Velikodvorsky willyns59 at gmail.comFri Mar 25 15:29:22 CDT 2016
Hello everyone! Thanks to everybody for advises and sharing of knowledge and experience! I've decided to pour somethin straightening layer of cob over existing subfloor, just to make it smooth and nice and easier for tiling. And before I do that I made a test tiling and grouting and I must say it looks like it works! "Tile glue" - 1:3 clay:sand from quarry where they saw the spongy rock to bricks "Grout" - 1:3 lime: same sand + plastic fibre http://images.sevstar.net/images/35144399957642952282.jpg Best fishes Pasha On 22 Mar 2016 21:29, "Etienne Carbonneau" <etiennecarbonneau at hotmail.com> wrote: > Hi Pavel, > > Clay to fix the tiles works well ( I used local grey clay ).
