[Cob] lorena stoveDulane silkworm at spiderhollow.comMon Jun 1 19:22:57 CDT 2009
Here is a link to a cob/mud boiler - which could come in awfully handy too. I am trying to find a very cool article (link) about a portable rocket style boiler, that the World Health Org was promoting - to use firewood more efficiently in Africa. http://www.rocketstove.org/images/stories/new%20mud%20stove%20for%20refugees %20mar%2028%20%2009.pdf -----Original Message----- From: coblist-bounces at deatech.com [mailto:coblist-bounces at deatech.com] On Behalf Of Ramona Fabregas Sent: Monday, June 01, 2009 7:13 AM To: coblist at deatech.com Subject: [Cob] lorena stove I live in a tiny house and don't want to cook inside in the summer (or even in the winter!). My solution is to make an outdoor kitchen. I've looked at cob ovens and am also interested in a lorena stove. There's plenty of literature out there on the ovens, but not so much on Lorena stoves. Does anyone here have experience with building these? I want it all outside and wonder how much cover - if any - I need to give it. I'd also appreciate any general guidelines for designing an out door kitchen.
