[Cob] Coblist Digest, Vol 8, Issue 72Heather Howard friscomomma at gmail.comThu Apr 8 19:36:04 CDT 2010
Hello everybody, I need some ideas for attaching a cob studio to the top of my storm cellar in north Texas. Cellar is concrete and comes out of the ground about 3 feet with about 4 feet underground. I initially thought of anchoring all-thread to the top of the cellar around the perimeter and wrapping with baling twine to give cob something to grab onto. If there is any other way, however, without having to put holes in the cellar I would love to hear it.... It would be fantastic if I could just gob cob on top knowing that the sheer weight of an 8 foot wall would be enough to keep it from shifting but I think that's too good to be true. Anybody have any good ideas? I look forward to hearing from y'all! Thank you, Heather
