Hi Carol, My suggestion is always put a stone footing otherwise you will be wicking water into the wall Jill McGregor Alternative Technology Centre "MAT" 023 625 1533 www.mat.org.za We are sponsored by Cape Lime Robertson If you do not want to receive these mails please reply with unsubscribe as your subject. I want to build a free form bench and wall around two sides, with the oven in the corner. Can I just start out on the cement, or do I need extra footing. This is my first project, so any suggestions or advice is welcome and appreciated.
