[Cob] Douglas county info needed (and Josephine)

Hi all

We are planning to relocate to Douglas County this summer.  We are 
looking for
information on the local planning department, and building environment.  
First
hand experience would be sooooooo helpful.

- Is Douglas County cob-friendly?  Cob-averse? - Any direct experience 
with the
planning department, permits, building (especially with cob, of course). 
- Aware
of anyone in the area building with cob?  Building with strawbales?  
Would love
to make contact with them.

Have similar info on Josephine County?
