[Cob] Hybrid Strawbale/Cob

Hi,
I have not built a cob or SB house, but if I did I
think I would install a lot of insulation such as SB,
vermiculite, perlite or.? With straw, or any organic
material, moisture mitigation from precipitation and
condensation should be addressed.
I would also consider a few other "green" systems such
as a greenhouse or solar collector oriented to the
sun, in climates that might need heat I would consider
a a long skinny house broadside to the sun and some
sort of thermal storage (perhaps under the house),
rain water collection system, composting toilet, grey
water system such as "earthships" have.
How about a Strawbale/cob/earthship hybird?
