[Cob] beginners in Ohio

Hello!

My husband and I are thinking about buying/building a home (in central Ohio) 
sometime in the next year.  We are very interested in cob, rammed earth, 
underground homes, etc.  I'd love to buy some land & build a “green” home to 
  fit our lifestyle and dreams, but neither of us (and no one in our 
extended family) has any real design or building experience (or even 
experience at buying land!) and I worry about making stupid mistakes.

Does anyone have any advice or thoughts to help us get started?
Does anyone know of any cob/earth homes or buildings in Ohio that we might 
be able to visit?
Does anyone know of someone in Ohio who might have some of our missing 
experience who might be willing to help us for an affordable price?
