[Cob] funding for cob code research

Do any of you know of any organizations that might be willing to fund cob
code research?  

I have been slogging through foundation descriptions to try to find some,
and it is indeed a chore.  Perhaps one of you has an idea of an
organization that might fund this.  

As I think about areas that cob relates to, I have (so far) generated
this list of interest areas:

self-reliance
self-expression
art
architecture
green building, eco-building, sustainable building
environment preservation
resource management
housing for the poor
community building
sustainable living
energy conservation
human health

The goal is to make it legal for anyone to build with cob by having cob
code in the IBC.

Any thoughts on the matter would be welcome.
