Forgot to include a definition of Clay Slip when responding to Dorethy's query. Most of you probably know what it is already, but if ya don't: Slip is simply liquid clay. You make your own slip my dissolving pure bits of clay in a bucket and adding water 'til it just covers the clay. Let it dissolve/settle/sit for a couple of days. The clay will sink to the bottom and the water will keep rising to the surface...just keep skimming or pouring the water off until you've got a really creamy thick slip to work with. Think of slip as the "glue" that joins pieces of clay together. Kathy
