[Cob] bumblebees, Asphalt paint a failure...Amanda Peck ap615 at hotmail.comSun May 9 19:43:11 CDT 2004
Those bees lay their eggs in holes in wood. That's the only place they do do this. So, extremely unlikely that they will attack a sand/clay/straw mix. Jill replied (and she may get this twice!) ah *carpenter* bees, that makes sense ... when you talk about the horse fence paint not detering them, do you mean on exposed wood? what i was wondering was if they'd make holes directly into cob itself? (of course, ways to deter them from breaking down wood is of interest too ...) _________________________________________________________________ Getting married?
