[Cob] cob with buttresses

This building is not strictly speaking cob, but earthbag.  However, I think it is a charming building, and a very good illustration of the use of buttresses on a round earthen building.  The buttresses give additional support to the vault at the spaces between windows and doors.  Without the buttresses, this building would probably not be structurally sound, due to all the windows and doors.  
 
However--at least in the photos--the conical dome combined with the buttresses makes it look rather like a fat little finned rocket ship!
