I plan to build in western WA. No carpet. earth floor, radiant heat. Will put down plywood covered with a throw rug under tables and chairs to protect flooring. I have to have electricity... Still trying to think about sources or how to get on the grid. Or solar... hmmmm Roof system, undetermined. Probably metal. Looking into living roof..but so far leaning towards metal. jill
