If at all possible, try to include windows at eye
level for the dogs/cats

We have a "Habitat for Humanity Re-store" where
i live, and you can get used bldg materials.
Maybe you can find used windows in your area??

Of course you didn't mention what kinda space you
had available, but i was thinking you should set aside
a "Compost site"  where you can compost the poops
and collect the leaves/hay/ or dry material that will be
used to cover the poops.   This can be used to create
a wonderful landscape & Garden area.

Please don't be thinking that you can't use the poop
because of disease.  Contact this person if you have
any doubts, or look at his website & do a search.

Take lots of "before" pictures, you may inspire others
to copy your wonderful ideas!!!
