Written by your kinsman Ted Howard, from Eltham, it is called "Mud & Man" a history of earth buildings in Australasia Ted only printed 1000 copies in 1992, and has few left, Ianto Evans at Cob Cottage has some, they are pricey at over $40. but maybe you can find on near you in AU?
