Cob: waterproofing tub with hemp oil!

Hello to all--I just finished reading a new booklet by Teresa Berube who
built a small cob home using hemp oil for just about everything. In her
booklet she shows a hand sculpted bathtub of pure cob...and says she
coated it with 4-7 layers of hemp oil.

This is news to me...

She even made hemp glue and other floor and wall coating with hemp oil
and natural materials like teatree oil.
