Cob: Simple Spot/Smudge/mark repairs on cob

Here's a tidbit of information but, every little bit helps.

Along the line of minor repairing of smudges or marks on a cob wall:

I heard from the owner of a Jyu-raku mud plastered wall, that the expert
told them that,
"when you get a smudge, mark, or spot on the walls to simply and lightly
sand it off."
