Hidare! *smiles* There are a couple of ways to go, I
Have seen both. They come under the heading of
Additions.
1) Would be to build a larger structure over top of
the one you already have. And when finished remove
the original structure.
2) Build an addition to the original structure, and when finished
remove the original structure.
Both ways work with stick built houses in MN. Or atleast
I have seen instances where people have gotten away
with it. As always ,, cheaque with your loco lbuilding codez.

We found the land we want, but it has this small cottage on it which is
stick built and does have plywood siding. This structure legitimizes our
existence on this land, and makes it a lot easier for us to build another
cob structure without permits, etc.
