Cob: Any body building with cob in the Athens, Ga. area?

IF you saw layers of color clay like blue,yellow,white,red or other colors

Hi,

   Kate here. This is the first time I've posted, [actually, it's the first 
time I had anything to add.<g>]

   I know that they quarry fuller's earth in south Georgia and it looks an 
awful lot like what you discribe.  I'd bet that's it.
