Cob: good idea

okay I admit this has little to do with cob but it was
such a good house idea I had to share it -
 (but cob houses are generally small and this is a
space saving idea!)

a friend took mason jars (any size from small to
large) and nailed the jar lid from the bottom up to
the underside of a high shelf or cabinet (with two
nails so it doesn't turn), so the lid was secured to
the wood and you could screw the jar onto the lid from
below and then the  whole thing hangs in mid-air
(looks like it is levitating there) and it can hold
anything from nails or screws to flour and sugar to
who knows what 

if the jar has a nice design make sure you position
the lid correctly before nailing so when screwed tight
the design is in front not facing a wall
