"Linear and rigid" are just terms on a list of constraints. Every
project has constraints. The builder makes the building out of something,
somewhere, at a cost certain. Many beautiful buildings have been linear and
boxy. The linearity of natural phenomena is often a function of how far back
from the forest one stands.
