Cob: Using the coblist, replies, archives, etc.Shannon C. Dealy dealy at deatech.comTue Jul 25 20:09:11 CDT 2000
I have noticed recently that a number of you are replying to messages from the coblist, but not including the list email address in your reply. This is fine if you only want to respond to the person who sent the message to the list, but several of these were clearly intended for the list. If you wish to respond to a message you received from the coblist, usually you will want to select the "reply to all" option of your email program. Where and how you do this will vary depending on the program you use to read your email, but all email programs should have this capability. If for some reason you can't get it to work, you will need to manually add the email address of the list (coblist at deatech.com) onto the "To:" line of your message. Another note while I am at it, please only include as much of the message you are replying to as is necessary for people to understand the context of your response, rather than including their entire message. One final note :-) many of the recent questions could have been answered if people would check the archives of the list which can be browsed or searched at: http://www.deatech.com/natural/coblist/ you will also find information on how to unsubscribe, list policies, etc. on the above web page.
