Aloha,

Two events coming up this summer:

The First Open Natural Building Symposium
July 1-7, 1998
Natural building fair, open to public (sliding scale admission), on July 5th,
1-4 pm

The Third Women's Natural Building Symposium
June 15-22, 1998
Natural building fair, open to female public (sliding scale admission), on
June 20th. 1-4 pm

Both events will be at (and this is the contact address for further info and
registration):

Pragtree/WAIL Farm
13401 184th St. NE
Arlington, WA 98223
(360) 403-0185

Becky Bee of Groundworks ( http://www.cpros.com/~sequoia/ ) is the primary
"instructor," and along with the folks at Pragtree/WAIL Farm is organizing
these events. There will be at the very least hands-on learning/teaching
opportunities in cob, cob/cordwood, straw bale, and likely some earth
plastering and maybe even basic thatching. Participants are invited to offer
their own mini-workshop as well (I'll be doing one at the Open
symposium...:-)

The farm is a beautiful piece of land an hour from metropolitan Seattle, WA.
Rustic camping is available on-site. There are some more details at
http://www.cpros.com/~sequoia/workshop.html (scroll way down the page to see
the symposium info).
