Cob Chimney?Chuck Learned clearned at bminet.comSun Apr 26 17:48:02 CDT 1998
I have the same interest as Mike in building an exposed Chimney. Mike I am currious why you have two flue's. I know nothing but it would seem that with all that good air circulation and linseed oil that the chimney would ok. I look forward to this reply. Also I am wondering how high above the roof the chimney needs to be? ---------- > From: Mike Carter <cobcrew at sprynet.com> > To: coblist at deatech.com > Subject: Cob Chimney? > Date: Sunday, April 26, 1998 2:24 PM > > Has anyone out there built a Cob chimney (above roofline)? > > Our flue is made out of Cob (no straw, high sand mix liner) and is built > into the wall.
