I assume you have to work with building code officials.  You know what
that means when you're trying to pass methods that are not regularly
practiced.
So how do you stick a ceramic tile to earth without it sliding or just
falling off?
You could try loading each tile to the one under it and hope that the
cob surface
tack will bond it. Or you could think about gluing something on the back
of each
tile that would push into the wall. Or you could think about hanging on
some type
of fabric.  As far as gluing to earth goes...use like with like--earth
to earth, if your
technique is good the bond is good.
