Cob Re: Ceramic to cob adhesionJohe Saunders josaunders at sprintmail.comMon Aug 4 14:12:24 CDT 1997
I assume you have to work with building code officials. You know what that means when you're trying to pass methods that are not regularly practiced. So how do you stick a ceramic tile to earth without it sliding or just falling off? You could try loading each tile to the one under it and hope that the cob surface tack will bond it. Or you could think about gluing something on the back of each tile that would push into the wall. Or you could think about hanging on some type of fabric. As far as gluing to earth goes...use like with like--earth to earth, if your technique is good the bond is good.
